Hi there, thanks for stopping by!

My career began at the federal government where I helped establish a usability testing lab and tested design patterns for ESDC. I then transitioned to a UX/UI designer in the private sector where I first encountered the notion of a design system. While consulting during regular hours, I volunteered at various AI startups in Toronto and Montreal to gain some exposure to that field.

Over the years I have worked at a variety of organizations, from tiny startups to global enterprises. I now specialize in design systems and AI applications and am based in Montreal where I live with my puppy Ciara, who really appreciates me working from home.

As a designer, my superpower is a meticulous eye for detail combined with a big picture perspective. I believe that good work takes time, and having a proactive approach to my work allows us to use our time wisely. As an advocate for users, my role is to gain a deep understanding of the challenges they face. My role is to communicate their needs with businesses that can help me solve their problems and turn frustration into delight.

My Values

Let users speak
for themselves

Good processes
evolve over time

Design to improve,
never to harm

Aim for collaborative
decision making

Diverse teams build
better products

Strive for data-driven
continuous iteration

Wow, still scrolling?

Thanks for wanting to get to know me better :)

AFK I love baking at home and making a mess with this abstract painting I’ve been working on for a few years. I grew up in the Greater Toronto Area after moving to Canada with my family from South Africa as a child. On weekends you’ll most likely find me outside in a park during good weather, or under the covers playing video games when it’s a cold or rainy day.
